Eat. Drink. Be Merry // September

FALL. Finally!! It's my favorite season, however, now that I live in southern California, I am going to be experiencing it in a completely new way. I usually bring a little fall into my home decor, but any major decorating is primarily saved for Christmas A.K.A. the absolute best time of year! However, I am seeking out ways to bring the fall to me since I'm not exactly jumping in piles of leaves in cute boots and a sweater in 85 degree sunshine...

EAT.

Olive Wood Boards
Glass-in-glass Tumbler
Knit Pillows

HAND-KNIT PILLOWS

I love the rustic look of wood anytime, but especially for fall as the backdrop for local artisan cheeses and a homemade spread - this is one of my go-to appetizers for company as I love to try new flavors and textures, as well as make use of my cheese knife collection! Bodum makes my favorite used-to-death French press, and they have delighted me with this handleless mug/glass hybrid that I envision myself sipping hot cider from {next to the proverbial fireplace in my cozy slippers}. And folks, you really need to check out the etsy shop of the woman who makes these pillows. Her designs and her story are equally beautiful and they bring a warmth to a living space that is so desired this time of year.

With a full heart and an empty plate,

Katie
